I loved reading this well designed and well written children's book celebrating Mother's Day.
The pictures were colorful, warm, friendly, and engaging!
This book reinforces that sometime it is the little things in life that truly make our mother's happy. By spending time with his little sister Lola, he was able to give his mother a break that she needed.. even though his intention was to keep Lola from monopolizing all of his mother's time.. or sitting on her lap... when secretly he wanted to be in Lola's place.
What a lovely story! Anyone who has siblings either younger or older can identify with this one! Kudos to Diane deGroat for another awesome job!!!!!!!!!!
My students loved this book. I would recommend this children's book for young children to enjoy whether this book is available in home, public, and/or school libraries.
