Monster Mess!

Monster Mess

by Margery Cuyler and Illustrated by S. D. Schindler

Crash, crash!
Stomp, stomp!
A tired monster goes up the stairs.
But

ZZZ, ZZZZ,

a boy is sound asleep. And
ick, ick
his room is not so neat ---
not neat enough for a monster to take a nap!
So
whishtt, whishtt,
the monster starts to clean.

I giggled throughout the book. The poetry was quick to showcase how quickly the monster was cleaning the occupant's room while he snoozed in his bed. What a terrible mess for such a tired monster to have to clean...::))

I loved the variation in font colors and size! This made the book more engaging and exciting to read. Even though the monster appears to be creepy and larger than life, it still funny and won't scare the youngest of readers....

I absolutely loved this book. The colors were very vibrant, friendly, and engaging. The poetry, pictures, and colors were all very creatively done!

This book would make a great story time.

This book is a great way to introduce children to cleaning their rooms and to clean up behind themselves.

What a fun read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book would make a fun addition to any home library for young children (adults will find it amusing also), and any school and public library.

Happy Reading!

Until the next time!

A children's book a day, keeps the scary monster away!
