HAPPY HALLOWEEN

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alpha Oops! H is for Halloween

by Alethea Kontis and Illustrated by Bob Kolar

Ack! It's time for the Halloween show, and A isn't ready yet. But then again, Halloween can only start with one letter; no matter how the A-B-C's normally go. The misbehaving alphabet is putting on a performance full of tricks and treats, and there's no telling who-or what-will take the stage next.

A is for -- Psssss! A! You're on! A?
Ack! I'm not ready. H has top billing, make her go first.
Yes, ma'am ... H, you're on!

This delightful Halloween book is quite a TREAT!!!!!

The illustrations, colors and shapes are bright, cheerful, and funny! This book was such fun to read and share with others...

This is one of the most adorable Halloween books that I have read in a long time! It will bring a smile to your face and warm your heart!!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend this fun feast for the eyes for all school, public, private, and home libraries.

Until the next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little Red Writing by Joan Holub and Pictures by Melissa Sweet

Little Red Writing

by Joan Holub and Pictures by Melissa Sweet

ONCE UPON A TIME IN PENCIL SCHOOL, a teacher named Ms. 2 told her class, "Today we're going to write a story."
"Yippee!" said the birthday pencil.
"Slammin'!"
said the basketball pencil.

"Sharp!" said Little Red.

So begins a hilarious and exuberant retelling of "Little Red Riding Hood," in which a brave little red pencil finds her way through the many perils of story-telling, faces a ravenous pencil sharpener (the Wolf 3000) ... and saves the day.

*************************************

I couldn't put this book down! My favorite part was when Little Red said, "I'D ALSO LIKE TO REPORT I HAVE JUST NOTICED WHAT BIG SHARP TEETH YOU HAVE!"

You''ll have to read the rest of the story to see how it ends.............

Until the next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOJO DAYCARE by Chris Tougas

DOJO DAYCARE

by Chris Tougas

SIX LITTLE NINJAS arrive at Dojo Daycare, ready to raise a ruckus. Snack time or story time-- it's always time to tussle! Can Master tame this full-blown riot?

When ninja moms and ninja dads
Leave their hidden ninja pads,
They drop their children off to play
At Dojo Daycare for the day.

Shoes removed, the children bow
When SUDDENLY --

KABOOM!

KAPOW!

*****************************************************

This children's book was so much fun to read.

The ninjas kept the dojo master quite busy in this nice read!

The text is poetic, short, and easy to follow. The colors are great! The pictures are created so well that they really don't need text to explain what is going on in the story!

This book will make an exciting story time! The story, pictures, and text are fun!

I would recommend this book for children of all ages in public, school, private, home and of course, daycare libraries!
