Children's Room this Week

My Adventures as the Fun Librarian

Being a children's librarian is so fun and exciting!  I love it when I have the opportunity to be a children's librarian in addition to my other librarian duties....

This has been a most fun and exciting time!!!!!

I have been helping children find books on super heroes:

Thor, Avengers, Superman, Teenage Mutant Turtles...

Many families were looking for books on Thanksgiving.

Two young ladies wanted the book:
There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly by Simms Taback

A future teacher requested a book on lesson plans for 4 year olds for the children who she will be teaching. I recommend and found:

The GIANT Encyclopedia of Lesson Plans for Children 3 to 6: More Than 250 Lesson Plans Created by Teachers for Teachers [Paperback]

A mother wanted to see if we had the book:

The Road from Home: A True Story of Courage, Survival, and Hope by David Kherdian
She wanted to know who the book was about and we checked and it was about David Kherdian's late mother. What an interesting story.

I will include some Thanksgiving books later today in time for tomorrow!

Happy Reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until the next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Princess Addison Gets ANGRY by Molly Martin and Illustrated Melanie Florian

Princess Addison Gets ANGRY

by Molly Martin and Illustrated Melanie Florian

Princess Addison is normally a sweet girl. But today, Princess Addison is angry! She must find away to calm down and become her sweet self again.

Capstone Publisher's Picture Window Books has presented Princes Addison Gets Angry. This is part of the Princess Heart Stories!

This delightful book shows how young girls "princesses" can become angry and how they deal with their anger.

Will Princes Addison stay angry or will she becomes the sweet girl who everyone loves and adores?

You will have to read the book to determine!

Let us know your thoughts!

I would recommend this book for young children especially as a resource for teaching young children how to control their anger. This book would be a great addition to any home, preschool, public, or school library.

Kudos to Capstone for a job well done!

Until the next time!
Happy Reading!
